A month ago, I bought a Phoenix Android Smartphone (not LG) from Light in the Box, and have had several ongoing problems. It has Gingerbread 2.2.1, but does not access wireless, recognize the SD card, and goes into standby/sleep mode every 2 minutes. I have tried troubleshooting, accessing free wifi instead of my cell provider's network, while ensuring the battery is fully charged, but nothing works. I am very disappointed with this phone, even though it's pretty! Is there anything I can do besides hope it will be refunded if I return it to China?

1) Every 2 minutes, the phone screen goes blank, into what appears to be a standby/sleep mode.

2) The phone does not recognize SD cards. When I try to mount the SD card,
nothing happens.

3) The phone does not connect to wireless, or let me manage wireless settings. When I try either, it displays:

Error message for wireless: Sorry ! The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. <Gives "Force Close" button>

I'd love it if this phone worked, but so far it's just a technological nightmare.
