WTB: G1 unlock code.

I have just bought a G1 from ebay and I need to unlock it so that I can use it with my Vodafone contract SIM.
As I am in the UK Tmobile will not unlock the phone for me without me paying £15.
My other option is to pay £15 to a website to unlock it.
I think this is too much to pay for unlocking.

I have heard that a person in the US can get me an unlock code if they ring up tmobile in the US with my IMEI.

My request is for someone to get me a free unlock code from tmobile.
I am willing to put a few dollars in someones paypal for the trouble of phoning tmobile. Although I believe these calls are free.

If someone can help me, I would be very grateful, thanks!

EDIT: About the 20 post rule: The rules say that you cannot sell or trade unless you have a post count of 20. Does this include buying, like what I want to do? Its not clear.

Not only didn't you read the rules, but you are asking people to LIE to T-Mobile?! This will be temporarily locked -- please contact one of the mod, maybe when you do get to 20 posts?
