Word of warning about those things, I spent the money for it and was happy with it for about two weeks, then I pushed down just a bit too hard getting my G1 seated firmly in the case, and the whole back ripped off. Very cheaply made.
Did anybody here buy the holster from the tmobile store that they have that the g1 supposedbly fits in?
its around 24$ i think.
It was closed by sort of 2 clip things.
i'm primarily looking for a horizntal belt holster...
any ideas?

If you want something solid to attach to your belt I would suggest the Seidio Innocase and the Seidio holster.

I have had my phone on my belt for months with this combo. Costs a little more, but in my opinion well worth it. I went through 3 cases before I found these. They either said they would fit and didn't, or fell apart fast.
I have the above mentioned T-mobile leather case and I couldn't be happier. I've beat it up some and well hasn't fallen apart as of yet.
I ordered this one expecting some cheap and crappy, but would tide me over for a few weeks. When it arrived I've been amazed by how great it actually is. The phone fits very snugly, it has a both a plastic tension clip, and two sturdy belt loops. There's a suitably heavy and strong magnet holding the top closed. Honestly I was shocked to get such quality from a $1.61 case

Check my signature below... Krussel cases are very good, well engineered leather construction. I've used them for years on various phones.
If you're worried about magnetic clasps affecting your phone don't be (loads of paranoid topics on this - bottom line is Hall effect ICs are never permanently affected by magnetic fields).
I have several horizontal and vertical, but the one I am using know is the Body Glove.

You can google it, might find cheaper.
