Speech to Text via Bluetooth

Ahoy!

After recently defecting from a Blackberry Tour to a HTC Incredible, I've been on the search for a new Bluetooth headset. However, I've been holding out because still after many hours scouring the internet I haven't been able to find a answer to my question.

I am aware of the speech to text that the phone's OS can do, but can it do it through bluetooth? I've read a lot of reviews about the "Blueant" and that several of their devices can do text to speech. I however am looking to do the opposite.


Any suggestions?
