soft touch stylus, will it work on G1?

now I've been using G1 for almost 3weeks, I know there're some times I wanna use stylus on the device. I was wondering if those finger-touch or soft-touch stylus pen for Iphone would work...
I think it should, but I wanna make sure before I buy it.

I believe it has to be your finger. If you see something that you want to try, make sure it says it will work on capacitive touchscreens. Generally, that means just your finger.

i bought that. i dont like it that much. when u push down u have to push down really hard. and the tip is all squishy. also its kinda hard to drag it in the menu because sometimes when u do it, it opens up an app.

Why would you want to use a stylus? Isn't your finger the same thing as a stylus?

if the stylus is small it would easier and more percise than my finger. when im online and i click on a link. a majority of the time it clicks on a different one.
yea i could zoom in. but thats annoying.

It takes away from the whole point of being a touch screen. Thats the beauty of the phone. While everyone else is pressing buttons Im sliding my finger across a screen.
