    Default Seidio 2600mAh battery...

I just received my Seidio 2600mAh battery yesterday, and figured I'd take some pictures of the size difference with some other stuff thrown in the pics for reference.

    Stock battery without cover-

    Seidio 2600 without cover

    Phone with stock cover-

    Phone with extended cover-

Nothing to report on performance yet. Out of the box the phone reported 49% charge. Last night I ran it till the phone wouldn't boot anymore. Charged for about 6 hours with the phone off. That was long enough to get 100%. I'm gonna run it till it dies again and time it. I'll report back later with results.

Please keep us updated on this.

The 20% more battery life promised by the Sedio battery seems nice.

But the extra mass that it puts on the phone is a bit of a turn off to the phone and it makes the phone HUGE.

I'm pretty sure there aren't to many phone protectors that are big enough to support the phone.

I just want to clear that up right now.

I've talked to him and we have come to terms that we both thought of the same awesome screen name.

I bought the Seidio 1400 battery and it last about 30% longer than the stock battery. Also you can call HTC and they will gfive you a replacement for yoor stock battery.

Can you just call and ask for the replacement or does your current phone battery have to be massively decayed?

Started at 6am this morning. 11:30 now. I have my cpu running at a constant 528mhz. Gmail, calendar and contacts sync on. Wifi, GPS, and bluetooth on. Screen brightness about 1/3 of the way up. Search, internal and SD card memory widget, retro clock and calendar widget, and weather widget. After about half an hour of market browsing and an hour and half of Robo Defense w/sound effects, (this game is like crack!) the battery is sitting at 66%.

Just call HTC at 1-888-716-3594 and tell them you heard about a free battery exchange. It seems that some of the sales or support staff do not really know why there is a battery exchange. They just proceed with helping you file the ticket in order to mail you out the SANYO branded one that comes with all developer phones. It also comes with a sleeve or package with a pre-paid mailing label I believe to ship your current battery back. You have to leave a CC with them to charge you around $36 if you do not mail them back your old battery. Hope this helps, waiting on mine to come in early next week to see if it makes a difference.
