Got this set up the yesterday, ordered off of ebay. Well it's not exactly what I wanted but it was really cheap, under $20 shipped I think. But I had to buy an adapter for it (came from Britain, couldn't find it locally or in the US at all really, at least not for a decent price).
I thought this would be a great replacement for the G1's included headphones when I looked at it. It's practically the same design as the included, but has bluetooth. Nice.
Problem is that the single button on the Clip doesn't behave the same way as the included headphones. Headphones is one click = start music, double-click is skip song. Clip's button starts a call to the last person you dialed, I don't think double click does anything. So I either have to get the G1 to change how it responds to that button press or ... I dunno. I don't know a whole lot about bluetooth, maybe this is impossible.
It's possible that I should have bought the itech Clip R35. That one looks like it's more dedicated to music playing. What is up with their naming? R35 looks like a Clip version 2 to me. R35 sounds like a kind of insulation.
OK talked to TMo and this headset probably won't work as a headphones until Cupcake comes out. So I gots to wait.
