im buying 2800mAh battery- Good idea or bad?

Hmmm, i really like the case and dont want to buy another case.

whats the biggest battery and case i could go for without compromising the cover?

It's a Seidio 1400 battery. Uses the stock back. Have been using it for4 or 5 months. Get about 2-3 days with it, no wifi or gps just bluetooth all the time.

Unfortunately i would definately need 3g switched on...and i do a lot of browsing too...on top of that i want to watch an occassional episode of something on my phone too....i dont think the 1400 is that much of an longer lasting battery!

I got a 2300mAh battery from ebay. It's bigger than the stock battery and requires a seperate cover

but it was so worth the 15$. Every g1 owner needs to get one.

I dont see why people complain about the bigger size. It makes your phone manlier.

I thought someone here did some battery testing a while back and determined the 1600mAh battery was a bit sketchy. It had a higher rating, but did not perform proportionally better than the stock battery.

I read that also but my cousin has this and it last about 2 or 3 hours longer than the stock, it needs to be conditioned. I have the 2300 and I get 12 hrs of mostly power use so the 2800 should be even better. And if you want a monster, get this 3900mah
