How do I get this headphone adapter to work for my G1?

I have read all over the internet and multiple forums and I haven't found a solution since the donut update apparently broke the widget that used to work for my G1 (toggleheadset). Does anyone have a solution?

I have seen a paid app on the market, but I would rather not have to pay for an application just to listen to headphones from this adapter.

i bought one from someone on this forum that is just a simple miniusb to headphone jack connector. it has no markings, so I can't tell you where to get one.

Thanks. I may have to get something like that. I would like to be able to keep it charging while I listen. I will be using it in my office, usually 4-6 hours a day.

that's one of my biggest complaints, that I can't charge and listen at the same time

from what i hear the toggleheadset2 app works and its only a $1...i have the same problem with a 4 in 1 adapter, i recently downgraded to 1.0 and my adapter worked pefectly fine, so its not what youre using but the software they recently updated
