i have the Body Glove case thats almost exactly like this one. Its ok but i think it adds to much bulk to the phone for my liking so i only use it when im at work.

I love mine. gives the phone a nice weight balance and easier to handle some how.
also raises the surface away form the glass which lets you lay it flat on its face without the glass being to close to the surface its on.
the buttons on the front are a bit harder to get to but i notice it helps accidental button pushing in pocket or in hand.
I recommend it.

dont buy from igonemobile. Usually thats the main place selling that design. The quality sucked (on mine) and 2 of the clips broke in a day b/c they were just little paper thin plastic pieces. I loved it personally but the quality was junk.

i think thats the same case that i have, ordered it from another ebay store.. it doesnt add that much thickness to the g1, but the parts that snap on to the g1 between the screen edges will possible scratch the back of the screen, thats the only thing that I noticed, and the rubber piece covering the usb port on the g1 will be hard to move out the way when trying the charge the g1 while its in the case.. but overall its a good case.

the body glove case is definitely not leather. it's rubberized. i've had the case since the day they came out and it's still going strong. every once in a while you should take the case off and clean the inside to get rid of any dirt that might scratch the exterior of your phone.
