Extended Battery for the X

Just wondering if anybody else who has the Droid X has purchased the extended battery for the Droid X and what kind of results they have seen from it. From the specs I don't see where it can be much more productive than the standard battery being that it's only approx 300MaH higher in capacity.


Any feedback or info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have it. I'm seeing 20+ hrs on average with it. Don't know if its worth 50 bucks though. I love the fact it doesn't add any thickness really to the phone. I'm keeping it because of that reason. When i 1st got it, there didn't seem to be any difference from the standard battery, but after a few days it got stronger. Seems to still be getting stronger everyday. I've had it since wednesday. I'm a heavy user and I keep my screen brightness 50% or higher.

Nice. Yea I'm still undecided. Saw there was a company developing a 3200 MaH battery. But I doubt it would be a supported accessory. Which is unfortunate.

Only problem is it'll probably add a huge power pack on the back of your device. Have you seen the fascinate extended battery. Its 2200MaH, which is nice, but its huge in physical size as well. I wouldn't buy it. Too much bulk.

The extended battery adds almost no bulk. I can still use the original battery cover but these pics are with the cover that came with the extended battery. And all my accessories still fit.

Ok, its official, THE EXTENDED BATTERY IS A BEAST!

Been sitting at 80% for hours! I was right about it getting stronger everyday. Its awesome! Totally worth it.

I've got the black silicone case though. Doesn't leave a lot of room for increased size so I might have to get a new case.

Yeah, I took my case off. It was fitting too tight for my liking with the extended battery. I'll be be looking for another case as well.
