Looks interesting, But its just funny how they have all iPhones posted.
And then turn around and say its compatible with the G1
Hey. Has anyone seen this or tested it for quality?
- if your device is Magnetic, then it will be very simple, just put the lens directly ahead of your built-in lens, then you will get what you want.
- Otherwise, you can use self-adhesive ring (included) to stick a magnetic ring in front of your built-in lens (to make it magnetizable) then put the lens on the add-on ring
- You can change among our Wide Angle Lens, Fish Eye Lens and Marco Lens for your specific purpose
Here's the link. It's only $17.

There is a telescope you can add to the phone to, carry around a whole bag of go go gadget attatchments for your G LMFAO !!
Now that's pretty funny.
The quality looks good though.

2 Funny
I just don't need another accessory that I won't use, even if it's $17
*Edit: Well "Smalls"
Some people might say, the lens wouldn't be on the phone long enough

If you put that telescope on your phone, the compass is the LEAST of your worry's...you need to worry about getting a life instead. LOL
j/k yea probably not good for the phone (the magnet). But the regular lenses (the one that the OP linked to) also had doublesided tape mount. But like i said with the G1's crappy camera app i doubt it would work. Honestly its pretty dumb anyway lol ... you would get a better picture im sure off a $1 store camera
From a technical standpoint, I'd say the wide angle lens attachment is entirely unnecessary. The field of view on the built-in camera lens is enormous. It has to be nearly the equivalent of a 10mm lens on a 35mm camera.
The telescope attachment would be much more appropriate. I'm often annoyed at how close I have to hold the G1 to something to get a good picture. Want to take a picture of someone....better ask their permission cause you are gonna get right in their face with your phone.
With the periscope style lenses in the small point and shoot cameras on the market, I figure it's only going to be a couple of years before we have a GPS equipped phone with a huge touchscreen that incorporates an 8 megapixel camera with a 2x zoom lens.
