Default Can a G2 Be Connected to a Data Projector?

    Hi all,

I've done some looking around and can't seem to find anything about connecting a data projector to a G2. My wife is a teacher and her school's network blocks YouTube, but there are many videos she'd like to show her students...the G2 seems the perfect way around this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I saw on this forum someone asked this question about the G1 and was told it wasn't possible. Maybe the G2 has some additional functionality or there's an app out there I haven't found?

    Thanks,
    Rod

If she uses firefox at home, she can just download the YouTube videos beforehand and play them using her Desktop at the school. This way also eliminates the "data buffering" deal.

The plugin I use is: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006/

As for the G2...I don't believe so. At least not that I'm aware of. If it had an HDMI out or similar it'd be trivial.

Not directly unfortunately since G2 does not have video out via cable. But she can use DLNA to send the video to a DLNA device connected to the projector. She can download a DLNA app from the market, like TwonkyServer Mobile. Then, all she need is a DLNA adaptor, such as a DLNA enabled blueray player, xbox 360, or playstation 3.
