I have a jawbone 2, initially i had the same issue many people complain about, the fit and feel of the unit and sound volume. But recently decided to invest in a custom earpiece for it and HOLY CRAP. Huge difference!!! Now its always inplace, works fantastic and i have had to turn the volume down, even in really loud environments where all bluetooths i have had in the past would be unusable this device works without issue.

Definitely not cheap but i live on the phone because of the nature of my work so its just the cost of doing business. Also kind of nice cause nobody can hear the other side of your call.
