i would like to know this as well. I was going to purchase that exact cable but it had some bad reviews.
Can anyone recommend a good, cheap mini USB to headphone adapter? I have the one that came with my G1, but it's waaaay too long, I don't want 10 feet of cord. (I use my own headphones). I found this one on Amazon, but some of the reviews said it fell apart after a few weeks:

Thanks!

I know what you mean about the default adapter being way too long.
I ordered a short adapter a few days ago from eBay that looks just like the one in your post so that I could use my own headphones as well. I'm starting to wonder if I should bite and get one of those 3-in-1 splitters so that I can charge and listen to audio at the same time for road trips.
so any reviews?
I suggest this one

Others have a somewhat fragile wire between the connectors. This may look dorky, but it ain't gonna break. I have one and got one for my girlfriend's G1.
i checked my box today and found one. i never knew i had one
