    Default Auxillary Jack for G1


    Does anyone know of a jack that will allow me to connect my g1 to the auxillary line that runs to the radio in my car? if so, i could completely do away with cds...

    All you need is a mini-usb to 3.55mm cable/adapter.

    That would be what I was referring to... yep!

    I own one and use it often with my car stereo/headphones/home stereo. 3.5 mm is a wonderful thing!

    adapters are nice and all but you cant charge your phone while playing music...

    my car has that slot.. i'm lookin for a jack that runs from my phone and fits that slot

    First of all, "jacks" don't run to or from your phone. The "jack" is that little "slot." You don't need a "jack;" you need a cable and adapter.

    I don't think you're going to find a mini-usb to 3.5 mm out. You don't need it either. Use the adapter on your phone. That will make your phone conform to more traditional setups, such as the iPhone. Then you simply purchase (or use, if you already have one) a male to male 3.5 mm cable. You plug one end into the jack/port on your phone adapter and the other end into the "slot" in your vehicle.
