I will probably never, ever buy a non-OEM accessory again.

Rant #1:
I bought a car charger. It blew the fuse in my car time after time. The charger died within a few weeks anyway. I have been using the OEM HTC charger with great results ever since.

Rang #2:
Seidio Audio Mic/Adapter
Bought this close to a year ago now. First one went bad - cable start to come apart and sound was crackling. They replaced it under warranty. New one is having problems now, too. Move the cable and the sound gets louder - seems like a wire is loose inside.

For those thinking I'm too rough, but of these are used in my car only! They are hardly ever even moved. With the charger I went cheap but Seidio stuff is expensive. I'm disappointed in them. I wonder if I should bother shipping it back again for replacement or just toss the damn thing.

Is this always the case, guys? What's your experience with non-OEM accessories?
