Default Yahoo Mail and Facebook for Android 3G

I am using the new Samsung Galaxy

    1. Facebook
My facebook application works fine, however when I click on NOTIFICATIONS, it never updates. I am seeing the notifications I received when I initially logged in 5 days ago. The rest of facebook is ok. Any help with this? Am I going to have to log out and in all the time

    2. Yahoo Mail
I am having trouble setting up my Yahoo Mail. I use Yahoo for everything, and cannot seem to forward everything on to Gmail (which works perfectly for Android).

Does anyone have any idea on how to set up Yahoo on Android 3G? Even if I have to do it manually, so long as I know what to plug in.

    Thank in advance.

    Jo

I have tried both POP and IMAP - both times I get told my username or password is incorrect.

    I am typing username@yahoo.com

    I don't understand what's wrong.

I should mention I am in Canada and not the USA... if that makes any difference.

    Don't use "username@yahoo.com"

    Use your email address instead.

You have to set it up manually and have to enter in the settings Jason posted. After you do that it will work fine but, only on your cell network, it won't work on WiFi.
