Working on getting Pandora to make an application for G1

Working on getting Pandora to make an application for G1. They already have it for Iphone but they say its hard to get the mobile companies to allow them to do this. I mentioned about the open source and told them that the restrictions were non existence and the possibilities endless. I am currently e-mailing them as we speak about this. Hopefully they'll go for it because I definite like pandora more than any of the other online radio stations I've found so far. A pandora app/widget would be awesome

This would be awesome, but its another app where you stream your music. So bandwidth may be a problem for the heavy users.

This could help. All I have been getting is limited, generic, and small responses about this from them. Does anyone have any leverage? I am just a mod for AC lol VINCENT??!!

Hello Derek

We'd really like to be available on all carriers and all the phones that make sense, but that some carriers are more receptive than others at this stage. But we'll keep working on it!
