Aw man, wifi army is an awsome idea. Any idea if they are still moving forward? I signed up, but the site seems unfinished and theres only a few pages in the forums, mostly people talking about WoW, no real info about the game.

I seem to recall another sort of spin on this...

QR code deathmatch basically... where you have a big QR code on your back and you try to "tag" other players with your handheld by decoding their QR code and sending that hit to a server.

Kaywa reader is a QR reader that already available for many handheld platforms.. including my nokia 5310 =D
