Why Use Apps2SD?

What advantages (besides being able to install more apps) do you get using Apps2SD?

Does it speed the phone or apps up at all?

I'll be using a Class 6 card if that helps.

Also what is Cache2SD, and what does it do?

I attempted to partition my sd card several times on my pc, using Paragon Partition manager.

Well, no matter what I tried, it didn't work. I also read posts from people who claimed that while using Paragon, their PC crashed, requiring full OS reinstallation, which didn't encourage me to keep on trying.

Apps2sd2 quickly and easily partitioned my sd card, my G1 rebooted, and all apps were moved to my sd card, easy as pie! I had previously rooted my phone, but had given up on moving apps until I decided to try apps2sd2 (it's a newer version of apps2sd).

There really isnt any advantages from using apps2sd besides the fact that you will have more internal memory space freed up.

Ok. I used the term Apps2SD as I just meant installing applications to the SD card, but meh.

So theres no speed boost?

No, but you'll soon run out of internal phone memory if you have alot of apps.
