Default What? No "dropped pins"/point to location in Maps??

Really? Am i missing something or is this really a missing feature here. I can't find a location on the map and save that location? I mentioned it in another post, but no one seems to have a comment. I mean IMO this is a pretty major oversite. (on top of the lack of internal storage and crashing apps)

Ok, like im looking at my map, i wanna go park at this trail head that has no address and no real intersection, i remember about where it is but not the best way to get there. So i found it on the map, but i cant drop a pin on it and save it or get directions to it?? How come i could do this on mobile google maps on the RAZR, RAZR for heaven sake, on the dang iphone and not on android?? Shouldnt the maps program be like uber the best ever on this phone because theyve been doing it for years already? Am i missing something, tell me i am? Otherwise, maps has just been rendered useless to me. Not over dramatizing, thats about the only reason i use it, best directs from point a to point b. If point b has no exact searchable address...well?

this map issue isn't really a serious one, nothing a simple update can't fix but lets just hope that the update will be coming REALLY soon because i've been hearing ALLOT of complaints about this phone down to the battery life, to the phone just shutting off out of nowhere, to apps crashing, and now you can't even drop pins? wow thats just insane... we need a software update ASAP! like sometime this week and no later, or i'm going back to my iphone

Ya, i know it isnt that serious, but man, i feel like im as good as on an old moto right now. I'm with ya. So when are we gettin the pitch forks and torches out? No seriously.. yes, these are all realitivly simply fixes but no less annoying!

yeah i'll give them a 2 week deadline lol, my biggest concern is the battery though i reeeeaallly hope they can do something about that! and the blinking battery light seem really unnecessary! i could really live without it

wow! I have all of those things on my maps. I can save locations with no probs. Batt life is not the best, but i can live with it. I believe its more user error than anything! Mine works great! not 1 bug that i can see so far.

PixelHenge, how does the Locations app work for you? I think it's awkward that it's separate from the Map app, but it does work to save locations.
