weird facebook problem

hi, i've done a lot of googling and have not found the solution nor the source of the problem...i hate to just stop by and ask a question but I really don't know where to turn to anymore and i'm hoping someone can maybe help?

i started having problems accessing facebook completely...
1. when i try accessing facebook via browser (regular Browser/an app called Browser/Steel) it just hangs with roughly 1/16 of the bar filled and returns some sort of error message after about 5 minutes to trying to load. something along the lines of "Data connectivity problem: The server failed to communicate."
2. i've tried clearing caches. also this happens on different wifi access points so it probably isn't a network problem especially since i am able to use aim and access other websites.
3. i don't have mobile broadband (EDGE or 3G) to test the problem out
4. any facebook app i use just hangs with a blank screen.

i notice there has been a "little" tension between facebook and google but that shouldn't have anything to do with it does it?

if anyone could help i'd very much appreciate it

my advice is wait a week or so and download the offical facebook app.

sorry that doesn't help you now, but it will be better.

on a side note. on my phone the facebook notification bar, freezes in the spot at the bottom of the window, and if i scroll down it stays in that spot, covering up a good 2 or so lines of text that i can never read on my phone...

i used to have a problem when i would access facebook i would "lose" my 3g connection and it would take forever to do anything i would just exit the browser and try again but i havemt had the problem in a while. i rooted about a month ago and i dont know if that "fixed" the problem but it hasnt happened anymore. i also switch from the fullsite to x.facebook.com which is the mobile one.

looks like i just need to sit and wait...

at least i'm glad i'm not the only one...according to this other thread on the tmobile forums
