    Default video record in "portrait"

    Hello:
Been serching all day for a way to record a video in portrait mode? Every time I send (from my G1) to youtube the videos are sideways...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I haven't got that far yet! Just trying to upload in portrait orientation. Is this just me, or is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Just a follow up - does anyone know how to record in portrait? Everything I record gets uploaded to youtube sideways.

I record in landscape and upload directly to Youtube from my G1. It comes out landscape in Youtube.

What happens if you move your file off your G1 to your computer and play it there? Does it play landscape or portrait?

The G1 video recorder, as far as I can tell, records in the exact angle it's being held. It doesn't rotate anything when it's recording.

When you play a landscape video on your G1 how do you hold your phone? Portrait (where it has to letterbox the video and it'll look tiny) or Landscape (i.e. full screen)?

YouTube always plays in landscape mode, so you need record stuff in landscape.
