Default Video of Tunewiki in action.

Special thanks to Zach Hobbs of the Tunewiki development team for sending this video over. I was taken back with this application. Its not just another media player but a really solid application. This application is really easy to navigate. My favorite features are the scrolling lyrics, live playlists and YouTube integration. You can even change the lyrics to a different language and it will still stay in sync with the song. Another feature that I thought is second to none is the ability to view what people around the world are listening to displayed on a map via GPS. You can also see where the song you are listening to was played.

I was asked where exactly Tunewiki gets all of the data for the lyrics and other information.

All the lyrics are submitted by the community. Any user can request editor privileges by emailing us ( tunewiki@gmail.com ), and once you are an editor you have the ability to add/edit lyrics. Once the lyrics are up there anyone running TuneWiki on their phone can provide sync data by simply tapping the screen to advance each lyric line.

    Thanks for the interest!

That's a pretty simple way to input lyrics with sync.

How does tunewiki determine which sync to use? if someone provides some messed up sync, are we all gonna have to use it?

Editors have the ability to "lock" and "unlock" lyrics and syncronizations so that they can not be changed. *But generally speaking if a sync is messed up just resync it, and the latest sync is always used (unless an editor intervenes).

    Thanks,
    Zach
