Is there a way to save them as a csv or as an excel spread sheet? Can you export them to outlook? If you can do either of those, then you can get them into google contacts and then they will be on your phone.
Ive got all of my contacts off of my Blackberry and saved as individual vCards on my laptop (about 800). Is there anyway to get these into my contacts on my G1? By anyway I mean a simple way that doesnt involve uploading each one individually through gmail.
Thanks!

I posted a simple program to import them. You can grab it from here:

sflande.
many of my vcards have multiple fields, like more than one phone number per card. addresses (physical and email) and that kind of stuff. will your program support that?
mr gibbage,
lets say i can get them in a spreadsheet or in outlook how might i then get it onto google? i didnt know that was possible.
thanks
This online converter makes a GMail-friendly CSV for you out of your Vcards:

It's not perfect, but I used it to import my BlackBerry vcards to GMail then had to go clean them all up.
