Thread: USB Tether GUI for Stock Firmware (Non-Rooted)

Works great, awesome & thanks. Running and posting this from a tablet on Windows 7 x64 tethered onto a 2G G1 using AT&T Edge.

Word of note, for some confused what to do.. need to download the app onto your phone as well, get it at http://lfx.org/azilink/azilink.apk by either copying it onto the phone or enter that in the browser and open it after to install it.

Then everything else is fine and dandy. Any cons would be that it shows up as an unidentified network in W7, but oh well, not an issue for me.

Speedtest.net results for anyone googling or searching that is interested.
It shows my phone's location from Kansas, but I am located in Southern California.

Again, this is on AT&T EDGE on a G1.

Speedtest on California server (~1200 mi+ distance)

Speedtest on Kansas server (50mi distance)

Glad you got it working. You can also install the phone app from the "file" menu in the GUI from windows.

Need Help. I downloaded the program onto my droid and on my vista pc. My pc recognizes the phone, updated the drivers, and still no connection. The phone just says waiting for connection. Also I noticed that in the read file, it says to add the key config in the program folder. What does that mean and where do I get it. Thanks for any help.

I haven't seen anyone mention if this works on the N1. I'll download it tonight and test it out for you, but don't forsee any problems. Will report back tomorrow.
