Overall, there isn't a whole lot to the UPS app but that's actually the best part about it, it's simple to use and only offers as many options as you need. There isn't really a benefit to signing up for the free My UPS ID account, other than to send, save, and nickname shipments. If you often use these options you're probably a big UPS user to begin with and already have an account.
