I noticed that one of the apps that I had already installed popped back up to the top of the list (I always sort by date). The app was the "Twilight" app, but I don' thtink that really matters. I also noticed that it did not say "installed" next to it either. I tried running the app to see if there would be some sort of popup saying "there's a newer version on the market. I have heard that some people have said they have received notification in the app itself to let them know that a newer version is out. So this seems inconsistant.
Can't we get version numbers on all apps to start off with? This is going to be unmanageable very quickly. And then, there needs to be a place on the market to place upgrading instructions. What if the app is one that has settings or saved data? Will the data and settings be lost when the app is uninstalled?
I don't know. It just seems like there's a lot of room for improvement here. And don't get me started about the general lack of app documentation.
