Default TuneWiki never before seen features video

TuneWiki had the opportunity to show off a few of the 40 patented features they have that no other media player offers. This application easily replaces any portable media player out there. With the ability to identify which song you are playing on their server, and display the lyrics in sync with the song in multiple languages this is a must have for users in every country.

The TuneWiki database already has over 1.4 million songs and growing. TuneWiki uses GPS to display other users listening to the same song as you are around the world at that very moment. GPS allows you to brows around different cities and see what exactly others are listening to an even watching on YouTube at any given moment.

Searching for songs is very effective allowing you to search for keywords and even phrases found in lyrics, then allows you to translate them if needed within the application. Browse through different playlists including YouTube playlists to see what is hot. You can also browse the top 50 music charts from around the world. TuneWiki also has satellite radio support making the list of available songs even larger.

With 1.3 million downloads on jailbroken iPhones it is well on its way to the App Store. They are working with other carriers to to get it on other platforms with support for Symbian, j2me, LIMO and Microsoft Mobile. Good news for those who can not let go of there BlackBerry, TuneWiki will also be available for all They intend to bring the world together with 300 Million users in 3 years.

Just to play devil's advocate here: This program kick ass. No doubt about it. But other than just clicking through it all to see those features, I can't really see myself caring. Anyone else? I mean, if I've actually taken the time to turn on my device and select some music to play, it's for a reason: I'm working, I'm driving, I'm exercising, I'm cleaning house... In other words, music is almost always something that is there to use up extra brain cycles when something else requires my attention and concentration. Only on an airplane is music usually an activity in and of itself, and there, two things occur to me: none of the Tunewiki features would work because the phone would have to be off or in "plane mode". --Or I would be asleep.
So, if you honestly consider your lifestyle, do you truly think you will often be thinking to yourself "Hey! I wonder who else in the world is listening to this song right now?"
I'm not saying no one would. But I want to hear from people who think these features are going to revolutionize the way you listen to music. I'm just interested in the other viewpoint here.

I am running it on the iPhone and absolutely love it. I use features like the mapping system to find people listening to the music I enjoy so maybe I can pick up some other similar music I would not have stumbled upon.

I feel you D-Dawg, but again, some people want to show off that they know the lyrics... you may also want to sing along, but then 90% or the time we dont know the verbiage... this will save me a trip to google the song lyrics.

The top songs per country/region is great too... I didnt know much about this app until i checked out the video

Thanks for shring the videos... keep them coming
