Don't know if the ever will, but here is a link I used to sync my outlook contacts to google. Can't remember but you might have to change the phone number format. Googles phone format is XXXXXXXXXX, no 1 and no hyphens.

I assume you mean syncing with Exchange, not Outlook. Outlook can be used for Exchange, POP, and IMAP. There are separate approaches to each.

For Exchange, look into Touchdown, from Nitrodesk. http://www.nitrodesk.com/dk_touchdownFeatures.aspx. It does mail, calendar, contact, and tasks today. It doesn't do Notes yet - that's on their todo list.

It's a commercial application that sells for $25. There's a 5-day free trial in the Market. I've had it since I bought my G1 and I love it.

Have you looked at CompanionLink for Google?
    http://www.companionlink.com/product...=OL&hh=ANDROID

Commercial - $40. I use it on my work desktop to get my contacts and calendars into GMail.

    Data that will sync

    • Contacts
    • Calendar events and details
    • Recurring events
    • Multiple calendars
    • Tasks
      • syncs to your Google calendar (show me)
    • Notes
    • Calendar reminders/alerts (works with your phone's audible alerts)
    • Contact photos

These are the solutions I've found:

    1. Google has a full Outlook Sync program but you have to upgrade to the Premier version of Google ($50) to take advantage of it.

    2. Would love to know if anyone has tried this. I'm afraid since it says to backup Outlook contacts and calendar BEFORE installing. http://www.daveswebsite.com/software/gsync/

    3. I tried the Nitrodesk version of Exchange sync and it works well although the contacts functionality is limited (can't SMS, MMS from contacts list, etc.) and I can't figure out if it integrates with the myTouch default contacts app - they seem to be independent of one another.

    4. Article on talk android: http://www.talkandroid.com/383-andro...k-syncing-app/ Link to app:
    http://www.companionlink.com/product...=OL&hh=ANDROID costs #39.95 but has a 2 week trial.

    5. $14.95 http://www.companionlink.com/product...=OL&hh=ANDROID
