The App Market Project - Looking for Volenteers

Hi All,

As you may have noticed I was insane enough to list all the Apps on the Market yesterday and have updated it today. http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f...d-market-6284/
Some people have helpfully () stated that what they would like is a list with descriptions of each app. Now this is to big a job for anyone with a job and a life, but i still think it would be a good thing to do, so I suggest the following. Anyone who wants to contribute can do so.

Posts should follow a common format, the thread name should be App Market List - {Name of App Here}. And the first post should start with the description of the App as given in the store. You can then (if you want) add your own review of the App, listing good and bad points and maybe an alternative you think is better if one exists.

Once you have posted the thread, send me a PM with the URL. and I will turn the entry in my List into a Hyperlink to your thread.

Ok so your saying making a thread for each new app that comes out? or make various threads for apps that are already out? them give a description of it ....pm you the link?

Id be willing to help out on something like that, would probaly do like a smilie rating system too

Yes 1 Thread per App. This allows others to post their own views on the App and Also when an App is updated someone can post this fact to the thread which will bump it to the top of the list in the forums.

hmm, but woudnt that flood that one thread with too many reviews apps.........maybe you could limit to the first 5 good review you get , you put it in the thread

Either I am not understanding you or Vice Versa. Each App has a seperate thread. But as well as the OP posting the description and their own review, Other people can comment. Hopefully the comments would be about the App and not a flame war disagreeing with the OP's review.

Talk about a way to to kill a lot of time messing around with all those app's. It's gonna be like full time job lol.

But thats the thing, the more people reveiwing the less of a job it is. I for instance will not be reviewing the College and Pro football Apps as I have no Interest in American Football so it would not be a fair review.

I'll try and fit in a review as soon as I have a spare Half Hour or so.
