I hope it will be used for stuff that are made for iPhone and WM based devices ... that way whole new world opens up in what Google is the best

i'm pretty sure that's just referring to the android emulator and they'll probably give it the trackball control and change the phone image to the G1

Yes I'm sure this is just those standard phone demos that all phone manufacturers and carriers have. It's nothing that special.

Yeah 3d demo like on other phones. I tell you what though that emulator that is in the sdk is slow and buggy. At least for me anyway..

I heard because the emulator has to also emulate hardware, so it actually runs worst than what an actual device will run. This standard phone demo probably is enough for people who are just curious about the general interface.

They may even make it easier to install, as none developers would be interested in using it, say HTML designers and so on.

the emulator in the sdk is in the tools folder
