I have just bought an HTC Legend and am a new user of zimbra. I have also bought LV Contacts Sync for Zimbra.
1. The above link is broken !!
2. The web site "start manual" is really meaningless?? - could some kind soul please restate the instructions in such a way that a total novice (me) will be able to use this software.
Complete the account form

1.Account name : is a display name for this account
2.Server name : name or IP of the Zimbra server (zimbra.free.fr for freenautes)
3.Service url : Zimbra service's url, commonly /service/soap/,in other case contact your system administrator (empty for freenautes)
4.https : check if necessary (do not check for freenautes)
5.Port : Adjust if necessary (80 for freenautes)
6.Email : Your email of connection
7.Password : Your password of connection

I use IMAP and the provider is 1and1.co.uk.

1) the link has been corrected, thanks for the notification

2) I think you misunderstood the function of LVContacts sync for Zimbra, this is not aimed at setting your e-mail account, you must use the normal mail application supplied with your phone for that.
LVContacts is used only to synchronize your address books from your Zimbra groupware on your phone.
For that, you of course need to have a Zimbra account and I don't even know if 1and1 uses Zimbra as their webmail.
You must also have non empty address books on your Zimbra account but this is useless if you just want to have your e-mails on your phone.

Hope I understand your request clearly, otherwise, don't hesitate to precise your request so that I can help you more efficiently.

Hi,

LVContacts 1.9 has been released and it adds many new synced fields from Zimbra that were not synced before such as company and every e-mail/phone/IM/URLs/address fields.
It also fixes a few bugs.
This is the last LVContacts release (except if there are few bugs reported to fix), this is a transitional release before LVSync which will replace it soon.
Sorry again for the delay, we were announcing September at first but we're now definitely over schedule and I won't announce any new release schedule by now, the only thing I can say is that we're not so far from it.
