If that 10gb cap is correct, you might wanna be careful streaming podcasts. I am a big music streamer.

I just did a little write-up on my blog comparing 5 music streaming services. Here's a comparison chart I made to go along with it:
![]() Still no perfect streaming service for Android phones (imo) but it's getting closer every day! |

Doggcatcher for podcasts and streamfurrious for shoutcasts. Both in the market.

I tried out StreamFurious today but unfortunately I wasn't that impressed. The default stations are mostly low bitrate and not really my style of music. The G1 has Wifi, 3G, EDGE; all of which can easily handle a decent quality stream. Why are there so many 64kb stations and why can't I filter them out? (EDIT: just realized I can long-press a station to delete it)
When I did finally find a station I thought I'd like (ETN.fm Ch1, 256kb stream), I selected it then sat waiting for 1 minute 20 seconds while StreamFurious "prepared" me for the experience (i.e. it didn't play any music). I tried the Search, but this just took me to the ShoutCast website. This looks terrible on the G1 and is difficult to navigate. I appreciate StreamFurious is still Alpha software (one of the four menu options is for a Debug Menu) but I'm kinda disappointed with this, especially since it seems to have so many fans on this forum.
