Just tried out ConnectBot (SSH) from the Market, awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing more useful utilities like this!
BTW, If you don't know what SSH is, you may not understand what the app does, don't rate it down just for that. It's used to remotely connect to shell accounts securely or create encrypted tunnels.
Now I hope we get better wireless utils in the market!
Yeah, I wish I understood what that app does. I just didn't install it.
Yes SSH! All I need now is a remote desktop or VNC client and I'm set.
EXACTLY!!! RDC ME NOOOOOOOWWW!!!!!
I would even pay for a worthy RDC client that would let me use the trackball as the mouse. THis is pretty much my one Christmas wish...
WinMo had a remote desktop client, but it wouldn't resize the desktop...so you would be looking at a small corner of the desktop. That sucked! Hopefully an Android app for VNC or RDC wouldn't suck as much!
I imagine we can expect to see about what iPhone has, which is a paid app and I think it's not available on iStore, but anyways it's pretty good, resizes intelligently, and is more than I would expect from 3rd party. I think it saved the iPhone for a number of .net devs who never got in on the tethering app before they took it off... twice...
Does someone care to elaborate upon what a SSH app does for those of us who are not as technically savvy?

In simplest terms, it's a tool used to connect securely to textual shell accounts on Linux/Unix operating systems. It can also be used to create a secure connection between two machines for all kinds of data to be shared between them.
When you see geeks on tv shows connecting in a text terminal to a remote machine or server.. they're pretending to use SSH to do it.

I agree SSH is great and RDC would be even better.
