hopefully with the open OS, we can get a sirius XM satellite radio player going, I know there is one on the iphone, but last time i checked it was having some problems
Hmmm - are you guys talking about a hardware solution or "just" a software solution?
An app that can stream media, being XM or FM, shouldn't be too hard (but of course it will eat bandwith so make sure you have an unlimited data plan - or someone to pick up the bill), but a physical satellite or FM/AM radio is something else, and of course it's all up to the handset manufacturer to implement it.
I for one would very much like a hardware FM stereo radio, or even better: DAB radio (satellite radio is not too common in Europe, and I don't think us Europeans are able to neither receive nor subscribe to Sirius/XM (again, I'm talking hardware with a direct connection to the satellites - an internet stream is easier to accomplish).
it wont be long. i was using an xm app that streamed the music on my blackberry curve, but it was only for blackberry, didnt have all the xm stations, and required a separate xm subscription just for the mobile phone app, i already had a reciever so i was just using the 30 day trial but it was pretty good. http://www.xmradio.com/mobile/blackberry.xmc
it appears you can only get the app with at&t alltell and blackberry atm

I also have a Sirius XM Satellite Radio problem. I have it in my car, house, and i listen to it when im at work. It's like a drug that you cant come off of. A Sirius radio would be the best thing to ever happen to the Android.
