Googles needs to set up a filtering system, any idiot who knows a little coding, can make a stupid app and put it on the market, they need to filter apps with out a purpose, or if an app gets enough complaints they need to remove it. I open up the market and I see some idiot trying to sell his app for 1.99 called stupid button. Who in their right mind would pay for a "Stupid Button" any one with basic programming can write that app in less than an hour. I'm loosing hope in the adroid, google needs to set up some rules, because with out rules we have chaos, and thats whats happening on the market.

paid apps are new and i'm sure dev were saving their up for when paid apps support was ready.
give it a few weeks and i believe it will settle down.

I like to think the android OS as a whole is a work in progress. Including the market; it needs work for sure. At this point I think all the current paid apps are going to make me really appreciate it when the better apps start showing up.

Even in the free market, there needs to be penalties and reparations for fraud. If I download a game for $5 that says it is a fast running 3D shooter but it turns out to be a laggy tech demo I'd be pissed. It would take awhile for reviews and ratings to hit that app and bring it down. Until then, people would be losing their cash. I agree there should be some sort of initial vetting process, or at least make all apps have a mandatory free trial period.

all apps do have a 24hr trial period. if you uninstall using the market within a day, you'll be refunded.
