Default ShopSavvy in the UK

With the G1 launching in the UK tomorrow, I'd love to get some feedback from anyone in the UK using our app. It's been impossible for us to field test in the UK so your feedback would be very much appreciated..

Feel free to post in this thread or PM me..

i scanned the barcodes of g1 itself, and also some stuff i bought from TESCO, a supermarket chain in the UK yesterday. i've got no product info from the app.

i did some other tests in a book stores early today, and the app did a great job. the app can get correct info of all the books i scanned.

Glad to know books are working at least.. grocery items are still hard to get good pricing data on, eveb here the US.. I know we have a couple more UK data feeds yet to be integrated, hopefully that will improve the results somewhat..

Yeah, the books are generally good one's i also tried groceries without success. I also tried random stationary items (envelopes etc) which were ok.
My price's we coming up in dollars though which was a bit odd

Edit: Just checked and now im getting pounds. YAY!

I'm a bit of a gamer and shopsavvy will be awesome for me to find those must have games at a decent price. I tried to scan a few barcodes on the games (UK) that i have and i was only able to find 2 out of the 6 i tried (list below).

Fallout 3 Limited edition - not found ???

Tony hawk's project 8 - not found

Shadowrun - not found

Halo 3 - not found ???

GTA 4 - Found

Mass Effect - found - my bad on mass effect i was scanning the preowned code (dont shoot me)

Fall out 3 is a really new title and i scanned it on the day it was released in the UK, Halo 3 is a huge games and it was a bit of a surprise that they were not found. I tried to mix things up by adding two old titles Shadowrun and Tony hawk's.

Well i hope this little feedback was a bit helpful, I still like shopesavvy just hope it works for games as well as it does for books.

Just wanted to add that i'm off to Forbidden Planet (central London) today so i will see how it fairs down there in regards to comparing local prices if that even works in the UK (not sure on that one)

I'm very surprised that halo 3 didn't come up, that's actually one of the barcodes I use for testing quite often (882224444477, yes it's sad, i have it memorized). If you could read me the UPC's (all numbers printed under
the barcode, it would helpful..)

Had lots of fun scanning it stuff at work (cans of compressed air, printer ribbons etc). Had a lot of luck with cd's too. At first the only shop it was picking up was amazon. Looks to be getting others now.
