Just to re-iterate, this beta will not enable your wifi if you have disabled it, unlike the previous version. This holds true even with privacy mode is turned off.. Hopefully it won't be too long before we push this version out to the market, but we need more testing before that can happen.

Yep thats what I do. It only takes a few seconds and it keeps the GPS from poping on now and then when you don't want it. Sure its something that needs addressed or is probably in the works, but hey its the price to pay for FREE.

With 1.5 supporting improved AGPS, they should be able to drop the Skyhook dependency (I hope).
