Hanh!!!!

So I tried scanning a barcode off my monitor and it works. Does anyone know if Shop Savvy or Compare Everywhere has a database of all the barcodes they have on file?
Would be nice to be able to just scan a barcode from home instead of having the physical item

This was the closest I found with some googling.
I think you should ask Kommodore over to this thread for a visit. Her sigline says she can find anything![]()

Maybe there should be a Kommodore App lmao, you scan a item or type it in and it gets foward to her cell.. haha that would give you better reviews
lol you guys are silly.
As far as my superior search skills have found, there is no such database.
But, if you're at home anyway, why not just search for items on the internet? o.O

Yes, they have a database of barcodes -- that's how the app works.
I'm confused, however... do you want to scan a random barcode at home when you already have the item, do you want to see a random listing of items, or do you just want the respective databases (which I highly doubt they'd be willing to hand over to you)?
I know they have a database, but not one that you can pull up in Chrome and go scan-happy.
And I bet I'm more confused than you are, lol

The impression I got from OP is that he wants to have the barcode of a product... e.g., search their DB for the product, have that product's barcode be displayed, scan it with the phone, then have ShopSavvy/CompareEverywhere use that same database to find the lowest price. The scanning it onscreen part is where I'd see the pointless factor increase -- if they DID offer online access to the DB, they'd no doubt offer online pricecompare via the DB, making the G1 pointless in this particular instance.
