sd card failure! music files turn to gibberish

I'm in desperate need of assistance. My 8gig sdhc 2 sandisk card failed on me. It happened all of a sudden. It started by destroying my music files. All were corrupted(file names turned to gibberish) except for 1 downloaded from amazon. It spread to all other files soon after. My card then said it was last read in 1969 at 7pm! The card was dead. I couldn't even reformat. After some work, I got it to reformat to ntfs but not fat32. I got a new card and now its happening again. I have superuser access jf rc33 1.41 with multitouch. I think It must be an app. Any help would be most appreciated.

Same thing happened to me. It destroyed my entire scummvm directory, and part of my pictures. I have no idea what happened. I was able to catch it before the entire card stopped working and saved most of the data. When i re-inserted the card into the phone, it wouldn't read the music files and pictures. I ended up re-flashing JFRC33 1.42 and it's working now. although it screwed up my market cache to sdcard.
