Do I do this all through my phone? Do I need to make sure apps n settings n stuff are turned off?

question, does this automatically move all the apps to the sd card when u install them or do u have to enter commands and create folders yourself?

cus im thinking of doing this right now

Download from your pc/mac and extract to your sd card. The rest is from your phone.

Quick question before i try this...Is it possible to un-root? And will I still get OTA updates?

from what ive read, doing an OTA update (cupcake) will unroot your phone.
ur better off not doing OTA updates and updating ur phone when the Devs create an update, wich are always more up to date anyways ( multitouch JF 1.41 ) . ive been reading all morning im thinking of rooting right now

Yes you can but not through an ota. Rooting disqables ota

So doing it this way, you don't have to mess up telnet or terminal emulator? Does it also install superuser whitelist, telnet and terminal emulator?
