Rooted on JF1.5, How can I tether to a mac?

Where can I get the app for this and how do I go about it? I'm a n00b obviously and only rooted cuz I was impatient for cupcake. But since I am rooted I want to see how to go about this, but all the tether apps are gone from the market

i just did it the other day. i basically followed the directions to root it and then d/l wifi tetherer for root users. i d/l that app to my sd card. also, i first d/l jf1.42. jf stands for jesus freke. he is one of the guys who makes roms. i used him cause of feedback from others and cause he has an app in the marketplace that checks for updates and installs them with a push of a button. so i basically installed his app after i rooted my phone and after i d/l wifi tetherer for root users. then i hit the jf1.5 update, which is the cupcake app. it installed and then i hit the button for the radio update. you have to update the radio. well, same thing. hit the button on the touch screen and it installs basically by itself. anyway, i have a brand new 17in macbook pro that i got last week and it is working great with on 3g!!! i can ichat, surf the web, d/l content and everything else. im so glad i went ahead and rooted my phone. do a search and you'll find everything you need to know. also, everyone on here is very helpful, don't be afraid to ask...
im gonna see if i find the link that i used to root my phone and then the wifi app link...

SO i just install that on my phone? NOthing needs to be installed on my mac? And will this work on edge?

yes and yes, (you might need to open up your wifi settings on the mac though to allow you to connect to an adhoc network).
