    Default Ringer Schedule App

    Hi everyone.

Is there an App that can control rings or any sound in general coming from the phone via a time schedule? For example, maybe shutting off any ringers (except for alarms) during certain hours of the night. Thanks.

Locale, its a great program, and I have it scheduled to turn off the ringers and wifi at midnite, turn on the ringers at 7:30am, turned back off at 9am, and then back on at 5pm. It has a few different things you can control, and a lot of add-ons that you can download separately to control other things.

I would love for an app to be able to adjust settings for other third party apps.

I use touchdown for exchange and would love it to automatically change the pll time from 1 minute to 1 hour overnight.

I use a fantastic app called "Timerific". With it, you can set ringer mode, vibrate mode, ringer volume, notification volume, media volume, alarm volume, wifi state, brightness, airplane mode, and bluetooth...all based on time. It's fantastic! HOWEVER, what I REALLY want is one that will simply put my phone in vibrate mode (or even better--a customizable profile) based on my calendar state (Busy, Tentative, Free, etc) in the manner that a Windows phone will do. This is literally the ONLY thing that I have found that my Android phone doesn't do that my old Moto Q9m would do. However, I will say that the Blackberry I had between the Q and the Droid would also not do this. If anyone has a suggestion as to an app that would do this, I would be most appreciative if it were shared with me!!

I use Setting Profiles Full (there is a free Lite version available) to control my ringers and notifications by time and location (and other things).
I did originally use Timerific (and thought it was excellent) but needed to have the ability to consider location when setting rules as my days and nights are somewhat varied.
With the full version you can set a number of actions to be triggered based on certain conditions (charging, docked, connected to a bluetooth device, etc), as well as triggering profiles.

Some of my rules (to illustrate what I mean)

    1. When at home between 10pm and 9am and charging in the desktop dock (by my bed), no notifications or ringtones, but do sound alarms.

    2. When at work between 8am and 6pm lower volumes for calls and notifications

    3. When headphones are plugged in, halve the media playback volume

    4. When at work and the time is between 4.30pm and 6pm, when the bluetooth headset is connected send a single text to my girlfriend (letting her know I'm leaving work) and sound a single tone.
