I like this app ALOT. But I still have to edit my ringtones. I like my tones to be loud and clear...so I take out all the bass and bump up the highs the volume some.

i'm also looking for the solution to delete the ringtones after you save them... anyone?

you can delete the ringtones by opening the ringtone folder on your pc once you connect your G1 to it....

but how do you make ringtones LOUDER??? my phones too damn low....

I suggest using wavepad for editing ringtones. It allows amplification of music files as well as fading in and out.

i suggest... and i dont mean to be negative nancy... put your phone on vibrate.

song ringtones are so ghetto.. especially when someone is texting and you can hear some super crappy akon hook playing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over through out a store.

but ya use wavepad.

im with you on that.. my phone is on vib almost 100% of the time that i'm out somewhere.. but when im home i dont always keep the phone *right* by me so i use ringtones there.

This would be sweet, but it misses the start and end times by some value- it saves your selection starting and ending earlier than what you select in the song- at least for me trying to get a snippet somewhere in the middle of the song. it does this all the time, and so it's impossible to actually get what you select in the file. maybe I'm missing something, I don't know.
