DroidFind is an app that locates your Android phone if somebody changes its SIM. Ironically, it does not work on the Droid because it doesnt have a SIM.
GSM Android phone owners, please review this app and suggest improvements.

I don't know if there is much point in an MEID locator, as the MEID itself is what is registered for the account service. It doesn't take more than a call to your service provider to tell what happened to your phone.

For unlocked phones like the Nexus One, it is useful to know the new SIM number. Also, to get the new network on which the IMEI is camped, you may need to run through a lot of bureaucratic red tape - especially in countries like India. This app quickly returns the SIM number, network location, and if available, the phone number so that you can call up the thief and try to scare him into giving it back.
