Push mail for all your services? not perfect, but its getting there
my.funambol.com
Funambol is a company that has been working on setting up client side services that will enable push services for whatever e-mail address you want... granted i've used their service since alpha release as well and its still has its share of kinks, its an open source project thats free and my avid support for workgroups like these is what makes me adamant in advocating their project no matter how bad it is in its current stage...
Needless to say they have yet to release an android applet just like my previous youmail.com review, but since its open source you can expect it to be out fast... They've released an applet for the iphone, and it works very well...
Basically with their service your able to synchronize your contacts, email, calendar etc. to their servers and access them through your computer my.funambol.com portal, or from a winmo phone or iphone... You can also forward your mail to their servers and it will push it to your phone... its not the fastest push, but at least your phone is not polling the e-mail servers every 15 minutes or so wasting your battery life... typically you'll have a 5 - 10 minute delay before you'll receieve your e-mails, but if your emails are not of a critical nature, then this service is for you...
if they are of a critical nature, i would have to suggest the service called www.drmorley.com, with low 3 - 5 dollar plans it works pretty good... also other free push e-mail services to check out are:
emoze.com
mail2web.com (option of better paid services which work great as well)
