    Default Possible Printing App?

Just saw this today. Apparently they ARE working on an Android version. To print while traveling, you'll also want a usb stick to run the portable helper app from.

Some of you may also be interested in the other activeprint version which you can get to from that site.

I did a quick search here for ActivePrint and came up nada, so apologies if this is already being discussed elsewhere.

What do ya'll think? Pros? Cons? Any other printing-from-G1 solutions out there?

It would be pretty nifty to be able to print photos and whatever to one of those tiny printers, if that's possible.

You could print webpages, Emails, photos, game high scores...

I think it could come in handy in certain situations... not enough to buy an app, but to justify it if it was free, easy and done remotely (without having to plug in the phone to a computer)

I can give a nod to photos and emails I suppose. Webpages seems like a waste of paper, in most cases, since you can simply revisit it later.

Game high scores (seems rather geeky, crazy, and boastful) would require that you are able to first capture said screen before you could print it. But then again, maybe this app already resolves that issue.

Like you, I don't think I'd pay for it (probably wouldn't bother to install it), but I could see where it could prove useful if some company's vendors began carrying around Android devices for their delivery/sales/etc routes.

Actually (first yeah games scores is geeky, but it popped to mind) a truely useful feature could be a ups/fed ex/uspo print option for mailing labels, yes just like the one on the iphone commercials currently out.

I've got a battery-powered Bluetooth-enabled portable printer I use with my laptop on the road. No power or USB cables required, just stick some paper in and print. It would be great to be able to print to that from my G1. That's an app I would buy!
