I doubt it. The app may well allocated that much as soon as it's installed. If the old app can't see the data (or the data that's there is just an "empty box"), or the data that's there is used for other purposes by the app (settings, etc), then there's no way to convert the data into the format used by the new version of the app.
Unfortunately, the bottom line is that if the old version of the app can't read your old data, then there's not a lot anyone can do to get it back. Sorry![]()
